About PYC27

This conference brings young people together to focus on what actually matters. Clear purpose. Clear direction. Time set apart to build conviction, strengthen friendships, and reset priorities around God.

This is the 39th Australasian Christadelphian Youth Conference. Each one has helped shape a generation. 2027 continues that line, with a program that stays serious about spiritual growth while keeping the energy and fun that make youth conferences memorable.

If you’re coming, expect to be challenged. Expect to contribute. Expect to leave with stronger faith, deeper friendships, and a clearer sense of who you want to be.

Our theme

Excellence in Exile was chosen because Daniel’s life shows what faithful service looks like when you are surrounded by a world that does not share your convictions.

He lived in a foreign kingdom, under constant pressure to conform, but he remained aligned with God. His experience mirrors our own challenge of living in a spiritual Babylon.

Throughout the week, we’ll follow the major moments in Daniel 1 to 6. Each day contrasts two paths, forcing a clear choice between the values of the world and the character God calls us to build.

  1. Steak or Separation: The test of comfort or conviction.

  2. Foolishness or Faith: Faith chooses what the world calls foolish.

  3. Idolatry or Integrity: Standing up when everyone else bows.

  4. Beasts or Believers: Seeing things for what they are.

  5. Wine or Wisdom: Resisting distraction, choosing God’s perspective.

  6. Desiring Deliverance: God's faithfulness to those that hope in Him.

These themes anchor the studies and shape the conversations, activities and workshops across the week. Daniel’s identity, discipline, courage, prayer, loyalty and trust are not abstract traits. They are choices played out in real pressure, real culture, real life.

The program uses his example to help us think clearly, stand apart when needed, and serve God with purpose while living in exile.
